Transparency in our actions

Being transparent in everything that we do is important to Hibernia and we are committed to accurately monitoring and measuring our ESG performance and sharing our progress.

We share our progress against our 2030 Transforming Dublin Responsibly strategy annually through our ESG Newsletter, Transform, as well as through our ESG data books, assurance statements and participation in leading external benchmarks.

Engaging with our stakeholders is a fundamental part of our ESG strategy, Transforming Dublin Responsibly. Our Transform Newsletter replaced our annual ESG Progress Report in 2025 and now offers readers more regular insights into our ESG strategy, sustainability initiatives across our buildings and development sites, and how we engage with our stakeholders.

ESG Policies

At Hibernia we have developed a number of policies and procedures to ensure we act responsibly in everything we do across all the material ESG issues identified by our stakeholders.

Our ESG Governance Framework

Good governance underpins how we manage ESG-related risks and opportunities across the business. Oversight sits with the Board, which delegates day-to-day responsibility for sustainability performance to the Sustainability Committee. Each business function head is responsible for integrating our sustainability agenda into their area of work, with the Director of Sustainability overseeing delivery across the Group.

This structure is underpinned by a set of Board-approved ESG policies covering climate, environment, health & safety and responsible business conduct, together with our Climate Transition Plan, which sets out our pathway to net zero carbon by 2030. Risks and opportunities identified through this framework feed into the Group’s wider risk management process and are reviewed regularly by the Sustainability Committee and the Board.

The Sustainability Team report transparently on our progress against this framework, including independent external assurance of our data and benchmarking against GRESB and CDP each year.

Board and Committee structure

The Board has ultimate oversight of all aspects of the business, including sustainability and risk management, and is responsible for the long-term, sustainable success of the Group on behalf of all stakeholders. Certain sustainability oversight matters are delegated to a number of Executive Committees, each with a defined ESG-related remit: the Sustainability Committee, chaired by the Chief Executive, has day-to-day oversight of sustainability and climate-related issues and reports to the Board at least quarterly; the Risk & Compliance Committee oversees risk across the business, including climate risk, using a TCFD-aligned methodology; the Investment Committee considers the sustainability credentials of acquisitions, disposals and valuations; the Development Committee reviews the net zero carbon credentials of new developments against our Sustainable Development Brief; the Asset Management Committee reviews energy, water and waste performance across the existing portfolio; and the Finance Committee considers the financing of energy improvement initiatives and related ESG reporting requirements.

Day-to-day delivery sits with the Sustainability Team, led by the Director of Sustainability, which meets weekly to track progress against milestones and targets, supported by asset-level champions who embed action at building level.

Risk management

Sustainability and climate risk are managed as part of our wider risk management framework rather than in isolation. Risks are identified, assessed and tracked through a Group risk register, which is reviewed at least annually and reported quarterly to the Board, with any material issues escalated immediately. Climate-related risks and opportunities are assessed using a TCFD-aligned approach and are a standing item for the Risk & Compliance Committee, ensuring they are considered alongside our other principal risks rather than as a separate workstream.

Our ESG Governance Framework

Benchmarking

We respond annually to the GRESB real estate questionnaire and CDP climate change questionnaire. These benchmarks provide stakeholders with external assessments of our ESG performance and progress.

5 Green Stars

In the 2025 GRESB assessment we received 5 Green Stars for the 4th consecutive year for standing investments, and increased our development assets score to 98/100, achieving a 4 Green Star rating.

Score B

Awarded a score of B for our response to the 2025 SME version of the CDP Climate Change questionnaire, reflecting our commitment to transparent climate-related disclosure and action.
