Creating places where people and communities thrive

Social impact is at the heart of what we do, both inside our buildings and across the city.

Our purpose is to transform Dublin responsibly by creating places where people and communities can thrive.

That means investing in our occupier communities, designing for wellbeing, supporting inclusion and staying actively connected to the city around us.

Where work and life connect

The best workplaces are more than addresses. They are communities people want to be part of.

Through our curated events programme, we bring together the businesses and people across our portfolio for events, performances and shared experiences that make coming to work genuinely worthwhile.

From live concerts at 1 Windmill Lane to Pride celebrations, seasonal events to sustainability talks, our year-round programme is designed to energise our community and create connections that last beyond the working day.

Buildings that work for the whole person

Every building Hibernia manages is designed to actively support the health and wellbeing of the people inside it.

We were among the first Irish property companies to achieve WELL Health Safety Rating across our entire managed portfolio because we believe a healthy workplace is a right, not a premium. All of our developments are aiming for WELL Platinum level certification.

From enhanced air quality and natural light to cycling facilities, green terraces and quiet spaces, our buildings are designed for the full rhythm of the working day.

A community where everyone is welcome

We are committed to creating spaces and communities where diversity is valued and everyone feels they belong.

Our Pride programme, including the annual Pride Patio Party at 1 Windmill Lane, is one expression of this. Our approach to community events, cultural programming and internal people practices are others.

Inclusion isn’t an initiative for us. It’s a standard we hold ourselves to every day – in the buildings we run, the events we host and the culture we cultivate.

Our responsibility extends beyond our buildings

As one of Dublin's largest office landlords, we have a meaningful role in the health of the wider city.

We take that seriously. Through partnerships, charitable giving and engagement with the communities around our buildings, we aim to make a positive contribution that goes beyond our portfolio boundaries.

Our biodiversity and staff/community programme at our Ticknock lands in the Dublin Mountains reflects our commitment to long-term ecological stewardship on the edge of Dublin, protecting open space, supporting biodiversity and connecting our sustainability agenda to the wider community.

Creating positive social value

This page captures the headlines. Our Social Impact Plan sets out the detail behind them – our occupier community programme, our health and wellbeing commitments, our approach to belonging and inclusion, and our engagement with the wider Dublin community. It is our roadmap to creating places where people and communities thrive.
